Merthyr train on the 3G pitch at the Treforest Industrial Estate

The Martyrs were at The University of Glamorgan's 3G pitch (Treforest) on Thursday night, preparing for the journey to face Corby Town on Saturday in the Southern League Premier..

Mike Jones an Jamie Rewbury came through the session, and barring any reaction, both are fit and available for selection on Saturday.

Merthyr will go into Saturday's match attempting to build on their previous outing - the recent 4-1 away victory at Oxford City.

Corby, whom Merthyr beat 5-4 at Penydarren in the last first team fixture between these two sides to all but ensure league survival at the end of last season, are currently 5th in the table.
